Singing Lessons in Hong Kong

Looking for a singing teacher? Micah is a professional singer and vocal coach having taught for over 12 years. He trained vocally at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London and at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.

Micah has taught a wide range of students from pure beginners to professional performers. He has some training in classical technique, though his main focus is in modern styles, including pop, jazz, and musical theatre.

Courses include:

  • Singing Technique

  • Accents and improving spoken English

  • Exams (including ABRSM / RockSchool / and Music Theory)

Piano, Music Theory, and Composition

Micah has been teaching the piano for over 10 years ranging from beginners up to Grade 8. He has also been teaching theory and writing music for around 5 years. Subjects include:

  • Music Theory (Grade 8 and higher)

  • Song writing

  • Film scoring

  • Orchestration and Arranging

  • Composition softwares (eg. Sibelius, MuseScore, Noteflight, etc)

  • Recording & Editing softwares (eg. Garageband, Logic, audacity, etc)
